Dr Faith Nyamukapa was elected to the SOS Children’s Villages in Zimbabwe Board on 25 June 2021.
Faith is a multi award winning entrepreneur, a strategist, an Accountant by profession, Auditor by practice, Mentor and Inspirational Speaker by passion. She is currently the Executive Director of Kindercare Zimbabwe a focal organisation for Early Childhood Development in Zimbabwe whose objective is to become the heartbeat of an extension of love and support to vulnerable children in Zimbabwe through provision of quality education and empowering the child care givers with sustainable skills to run viable projects . Among several awards she won the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Silver Award at the Megafest Women awards in November 2021, the Executive Director of the year award for women’s Heritage Society World Organization in 2016, Top Female Academic Philanthropist of the Year Award and the Continental winner in Education and Training—Zimbabwe in October 2017
She worked for the Capernaum Trust a non-governmental organization as the Finance Manager before she was promoted to Group Finance Manager for Higherlife Foundation from 2013 to 2014 and then to Regional Finance Manager for (Lesotho, Burundi and South Africa) for the same organization. Faith worked for 3 years as a Senior Auditor with Deliotte from 2005 to 2008.
Faith’s Executive appointments include, appointment as a Trustee for Education Support Systems Zimbabwe from 2016 to date, Board Member of the Zimbabwe Australia Business Council in November 2019. and Trustee for Econet Wireless Group Pension Fund Board in 2012.
She graduated from the Africa University with a Bachelor of Accountancy Honors Degree, and obtained an NGO management course in July 2016 through Approval Team Zimbabwe.
