The Board of Directors of SOS Children’s Villages Association of Zimbabwe is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Graham Dombodzvuku as Chairman, effective 9 December 2024. Mr. Dombodzvuku joined the Board in June 2021 and has ably chaired the Joint Operations and Fund Development Committee of the Board.

A Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of professional experience, Mr. Dombodzvuku is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe. He currently serves as a Partner at Axcentium Zimbabwe. Previously, he was a Tax Partner at Deloitte Africa, where he developed and implemented strategies focusing on growth, brand, and transformation.

Under the banner of Deloitte East Africa, Mr. Dombodzvuku led the Audit Business in Uganda, ensuring growth, client service excellence, talent management, and quality maintenance. Over his 15-year tenure as an Audit Partner, he has handled portfolios for listed entities, large agribusinesses, banking, mining, and Not-for-Profit Organizations across East, Central, and Southern Africa.

Mr. Dombodzvuku is passionate about talent development and succession planning, believing these are essential for sustainable results and leaving a lasting legacy.
