Mr. Valente Ferrao was reelected to the SOS Children’s Villages in Zimbabwe Board on 25 June 2021.
Mr. Valente Ferrao is a registered Attorney, notary, conveyancer of the High Court of Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Law Society of Zimbabwe and the senior Partner in b the law firm, Ferrao Law Chambers. Valente was a Partner at Wintertons for more than 3o years and left Zimbabwe on ‘sabbatical’ in 2006 when he established his own practice.
Valente served on the Advisory of Harare’s Finance Advisory Council of the Roman Catholic Church inter alia, as a Legal Advisor. IN 1986 he joined the Rotary Club of Harare and participates in charity projects. He has served as President of the club for the 2013/ 2014. Valente served as the captain of the Senior Golfing Society and is a member of the friendly Diplomatic Golf Association.
Valente is married to Anne who is also a keen golfer.
