Luckford joined SOS Children’s Villages in Zimbabwe in May 2021 as The Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) Manager. He has been working as the Regional Human Resources and Organizational Development Advisor for Eastern and Southern Africa Region based in Nairobi Kenya International Branch Office for the past 6 years prior to joining the National Association.
Luckford is a member of the Institute of Human Resources Management Kenya), Institute of People Management Zimbabwe, a holder of a Cum Laude Bachelor of Technology In Human Resources Management from Vaal University of Technology from A and also a Master of Sciences degree in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Beckett University in the United Kingdom, University of Stellenbosch Executive Management Development and other HROD qualifications.
Luckford has over 18 years’ experience in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development in the Private Sector , Public Service and non-profit organisations as well as extensive experience of Eastern and Southern Africa countries .In addition he has worked for the IDM Regional Office for Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland (BLS) Countries based in Swaziland. He has keen interest in Strategic Human Resources Management, Human Capacity Development, and Organizational Development . A Subject Matter expert in Transformative Human Resources Leadership and Change Management.
