13 September marked a milestone on our path to changing lives – Together lets make a difference every step of the way. We unveiled the official launch of the Stores Engagement Initiative by signing a partnership agreement with Zimbabwe Bata Shoe Company – a joint venture to impact the lives of the little ones in Zimbabwe.

This great initiative will help in supporting vulnerable children and youths through building employability skills and mentorship programmes through the support of Bata Shoe Company Zimbabwe. The aprtnership will providde business mentorship programmes where youths from our target group will pitch their business proposals and qualify for start-up funding for their businesses.  In addidtion a total of three youths with an interest in leather works will be mentored through the partnership and prepared for both employability and enterprenuership. Thank you Bata for this great initiative in realizing dreams of vulnerable children and youths.

We are calling on more corporates to join in and support our Zimbabwean children to be the best they can be despite their circumstances. Doing good is good business!
